THE PERFECT ROSE

Part of my poetic collection I guess..
Written in honour of those special people I like to call my friends.

The Perfect Rose

Friends are like the perfect rose
Its imperfections give it character
And makes it beautiful
There are thorns that prick
But if it's important enough
Those are just looked over
Friends can wilt and fade away
But the special ones are dried
And stuck in a notebook as a reminder
Never lost and never forgotten
